Do you use all of your pedals on your board on at least 3 songs with a live band?

So, OP, you say that if I have a pedal I should use it all the time.
Then, for you the effects are more important than the music. If you like a song that uses one effect that no other song needs you won't play that song, right?

The band will be quite disappointed. I guess I'll have to go through the calendar and start making calls. :atoz:

It doesn't hurt that you've got good finesse and feel and tone on your short recording...the other one sounds somewhere north of a slightly wet fart and slightly south of a terminally ill lawnmower.

Tuners are funny... we say they are not effects but that just isn't true. Tuners can put out funny tones if left on which can be really fun if you turn all the pedals on your board on:bassist: Then if you have a wah near the end of you chain you can mess with the whole mess! This will will generally get someone in your band to look at you with "that" look and say "just ****ing stop that" for which you must say "I was in tune five min ago and you are taking too long":p

I voted yes, I had guessed I was gonna say that I had some pedals on my board that I didn't use that much. Just lately I took them off, I have just 3 pedals on my Gator Pedal Tote, a tuner, a BDDI, and a graphic EQ. 2/3 on ALL the time.

I have other pedals at home, but they just sit on my jam rug.

I thought the poll may be about someting usefull like deciding if carrying a pedalboard is really neccesary, but I guess this thread is just crap.

BTW: on the little wings, I couldn't really decide. Mark's too slow, the guitar lines played on bass and tone not to my liking, Jimmy's blasting thru the chords was different, would have liked to hear it go somewere else but it cut off. so no vote.

Anybody cool out there, happy Saturday!

Ya, I wasn't really interested in doing anything else except go through the progression once and stop. I'm no solo bassist, and I only recorded it to prove a point.
