How many of you use each of your pedals on your pedalboard on at least 3 songs by a band you gig live with? I expect a lot of people won't answer. I expect there's a lot of people out there with pedalboards just for fun, and that's fine. I want to know as a percentage how many TB'ers on the effects forum actually use their pedalboards with a live band. If you have any pedal on your pedalboard you use on less than 3 songs in a live gigging environment, answer NO. If you get good mileage out of what you bother to carry with you to a gig answer YES.

I use my wah on nearly every single song we play.

Other than that I use my distortion and chorus sparingly. Only one song that I'd use all 3 at once

i just bought a moog ring mod that i'm still getting to grips with.... do i have to take it off my board for gigs? or do i not play gigs? i just play in my quite large pay-to-get-in bar containing populated bedroom!

oh also **** you, i use a SS amp that was not cheap on a cab that was just as not cheap. yes you may have more money than me, you may claim to be a professional musician although seeing as you only have a link to some pretty poor tone/playing i doubt but thankfully i have friends bandmates and fans and don't feel the need to troll talkbass in the hope that someone's opinions match up with mine so that i can feel some glimmer of companionship that you obviously didn't get growing up. now stand up turn around and walk away.

ALL of my pedals on 3 songs?
Heck no, not all of them on any songs EVER! Who the heck does that?
At least one pedal in every song, yes, the compressor. Others are for flavour when necessary.

Here is the pedal board in question: (pic taken at local bar)

I use (for bass) the compressor all the time, flanger to fill out certain sections, delay coupled with volume pedal for slow song swell fills, chorus occasionally, and the overdrive never!
I bought a pedal board for the convenience since I hate stringing together loose pedals and trying to find enough extension cords and/or power bars to plug in all of those wall warts.

I also play guitar, but not at gigs currently, and use all of the pedals to varying degrees, naturally.

I also have an Empress A/B/Y switcher box, RIC R-O-S splitter, and a DOD bass EQ pedal I'm not currently using that I keep at home.
And I play mainly (when I play at home) in my library/media room/den whatever you may want to call it (contains books, musical gear, and PC, as well as interfaces, recording gear, etc).
For gigs I play in bars (or tents, event trailers, bandstands, community centres, etc.... you get the idea, right?).
