How much do your basses weigh?

Your scale isn't really "messed up", but a cheap bathroom scale designed to weigh people between 50 and 300 pounds can't accurately measure just a few pounds. You need a baby scale or postage scale to get a true measurement.

Thats what I did, and it came out to 8.5, and its believable, it is a pretty light bass.

Holy smokes! Over three years since the previous post. Oh well.

My USA Lakland Bob Glaub P Bass (w/J neck) weighs 8 pounds even. I saw in a previous post that a guy has the same model but his weighs 9.5 pounds, so I guess I got a light one (which I like). When I was in my 20's, I didn't care about the weight of my bass. But now that I am 54, the lighter the better (for me at least).

I am looking forward to receiving my Birdsong Cortobass (under 8 pounds).

BC Rich Eagle, just barely over 8 pounds. Traben Array Attack just slightly more but still under 8 and half pounds. I Used bathroom scale weighing myself without bass and holding it to get wieght difference. Since no baby scales around here. Lol.

According to my bathroom scale, my Traben Kore weighs 13 pounds. It's nice to know that there are heavier, more painful basses out there. The T-40 must be a bear.
