How much do your basses weigh?

Holy smokes! Over three years since the previous post. Oh well.

My USA Lakland Bob Glaub P Bass (w/J neck) weighs 8 pounds even. I saw in a previous post that a guy has the same model but his weighs 9.5 pounds, so I guess I got a light one (which I like). When I was in my 20's, I didn't care about the weight of my bass. But now that I am 54, the lighter the better (for me at least).

I am looking forward to receiving my Birdsong Cortobass (under 8 pounds).

IMO, my '55 p bass is a feather at 7lbs 4oz:

MIM Precision 8 lbs. 6 oz. (Poplar body)
MIM Jazz Bass 9 lbs. 3 oz. (Alder body)
Washburn T24 9 lbs. 4 oz. (Mahogany body)

Heavy? Who says my basses are heavy?

SactoBass, thanks for reviving this old thread!
