How much do your basses weigh?

This has recently sparked an interest with me after purchasing a new Lakland JO4 and comparing the weight between two they had in stock and the guys at this shop showing me how much some of the US Laklands weighed.

Post the weight of your basses. I'm especially interested to see how much some of you guys/gals six + stringers weigh and also some of the vintage basses.

Here's mine....

Lakland JO4 - 9.25 lbs.
Lakland JO5 - 10 lbs.
Fender Hwy. 1 - 9 lbs.
Fender US 62 RI - 9.25 lbs.
Fender 80's MIJ P-bass - 8.5 lbs.
SX Jazz bass - 9 lbs.

yes, yes it is!! One of my first basses was a T-40 and it wouldn't surprise me if it weighed 11+ lbs.

these are estimates, but fairly close i imagine:

benavente - around 14 or so (it's all wenge)
mtd heir - around 8 or so

My Fender/Warmoth P Bass ans Jazz Bass both weight about 10 lbs each and my Warwick Corvette FNA 4 and FNA Jazzman 5 weight maybe 8 1/2 or 9 lbs. Ever try those Fender Neoprene straps? Makes my basses feel 5 lbs lighter when I use it . It has a tenency to bounce a little bit, though, hehe.

I really should weigh my MB2, but the average Mouse 30 weighs about 6.5lbs.

Martin's.....picked up the JO4 at the Horn Lake store and got it home and put it on the scale and it was 11 lbs.! Needless to say I went to Cordova the next day and exchanged it for the JO4 they had there.
I'm about to put my JO5 up for sale, but I think I have someone who may already want to buy it....I'm just trying to decide if I really want to sell it or not.

MM Stingray 5 - Haven't weighed it yet but it's noticeably heavier than my 55-02, so maybe 10-11 pounds?
SX SJB-62 Fretless 5 - Around 9 pounds

I used to own two others:
MIM Jazz Deluxe V - A backbreaking 13-13.5 pounds. It was a fantastic MIM but I eventually had to sell it.
ESP LTD B204 - Maybe 8 pounds, if that? I only had it about 3-4 weeks and I never weighed it but it felt *really* light.

My '82 T-40 FL weighs in at 14lbs, 4oz. The '80 (Fretted) at 12lbs, 1oz.

For really long gigs (anything over 6 hours) (only 'cuz my AARP coverage won't see me thru injury) I use a 84 Fury FL, a lightweight at 10lbs 5 oz.

Hard to believe (of course I do, but I've always thought that the T-40 is the heaviest single neck, 4-string bass ever made).

5-string bongos: 10 lb. each.
Ric 4003: 9.5 lb.

I don't see how anyone plays anything over 11-12 lbs. After playing an 11 lbs. bass for 30 min. my shoulder was killing me.
