How to pick a troll?

"Why is that I want to play metal bass with the bass my cousin's father-in-low gave to him and people tell me to play metal bass I need a bass for metal but I don't like them I sound awesome but not like metal. I like crunchy sound on the bass of the guitar drum and want to keep playing the best for metal because people are mean??"

Why do I have this awful feeling if we ask for an example, it will be a Nobody post...
I dunno, I've always felt that nobody was generally less of a troll and more just being funny, having a joke. I've always made the distinction of trolls trying to do things at a person's expense or just inciting conflict through posting about skub - for the lulz, as it were - whereas a joke is just about getting people to laugh a bit. One thing is about what you can get from a community, another is about what you can give a community.

Nobody was a great source of entertainment. Still miss that cat.

Kinda my point, to a newcomer, who wasn't around during Nobody's heyday, if you come across one or two of his posts in isolation... I can see a newbie thinking he's king troll of the local bridge. But if you were here, and 'followed' his shenanigans, it was obviously entertainment.
