How to pick up the ladies...

What works for you?
I need advice here.. It's been over 4 years since I've been with a lady, and that is just not right. Seeing as I am one, it's a bit difficult. Thus far, I've cut my hair. I'm hoping this will help.

Next question: Where to pick up the ladies? What do normal women do these days? Wait.. what do the weird women do these days?

I DID have this beautiful woman's phone number, who I met at GC.. but I accidentally deleted her number... :(

I'm pretty sure I had a thread about this before, but this time i'm serious. I want a plan. I'll take notes. O.O Teach me your ways!!

I feel like you're not going to receive much specialized info here. It's a pretty different game for women picking up women then men picking up women (which is what the majority of what type of relationships/encounters happen here).

That being said I've been with/dated many bi girls and nearly all of them I've met at art events. This depends on if you like artsy things though I suppose.

I say find some bi/lesbian friendly bars in your area, be outgoing and friendly and go with quantity over quality as the great man says!

But.. what to say?????? I just... I've been trying.. and the rejection.. it hurts. I need a smooth pickup line, or a way to break the ice. Every time I ask a woman for her phone number or to hang out some time, they get freaked out and act like I've just asked to murder their family...Though, to be honest, I've only mustered up the courage to ask a few ladies, but I'm rather picky... so.. I dunno. I feel like I'm getting nowhere..but then again, I had long hair before.. and when I used to have short hair I had the ladies "all-up-on's" , so I'm hoping it will help this time. Plus, I'm going to have a faux-hawk, and who doesn't love a faux-hawk? (...Is that how you spell that?)

Yeah, I don't think Maki's going to be much help here. I hate to suggest the bar scene. Maybe ask around where the local lesbian gathering places are. There's a Japanese tappan restaurant here that seems to be a favorite with the girls. Also, there's not much point in hitting on random women. The straight ones are going to be unappreciative.
