How to turn off the sexy

Using an outdated Internet phrase:
Pics or it didn't happen ;)
Bow down to the Supreme Power of my Douchiness.....

Several years ago, I was playing in a Rugby tournament and one of the teams had t-shirts that said "He-Man Women-Haters' Club" on the front.

On the back, in black, all-caps, boldface type, it said "WOMEN ARE PROPERTY".

One of those oughta do the trick...nothing like suggesting you're a raging misogynist to drive the ladies away!
"He-man Women-haters Club" is straight out of the Three Stooges. I don't recall where the "women are property" thing might come from.

I'll bet everyone of those guys ran to the sidelines for every boo-boo hangnail for sympathy from their wives/girlfriends :)

He-man Woman-haters Club was from the Little Rascals, not the Three Stooges.
Thou dost appear to be correct. I got my vintage B&W movies confused.

My first post on TB after lurking for two years and... :blackeye:

Does this mean I have to turn in my Old Fogies membership card?

I'm going to be serious here for a moment. The guitar player and now the wife have issues. Why does the guitard care if you're sexy or not? Does he feel he's not getting any action because the girls are fawning on you? Is this a sudden problem with the wife? Like maybe the guitar player brought it up to her? I think a chat is in order with both of them to find out what the real issue is here. You are who you are and that's not going to change. If the wife has nothing to be concerned about, it's her problem. As for the guitar player, he needs to work on his self esteem.

I've been in bands with guys who are chick magnets. It used to bother me, but after a while they'd get tired of chasing him and start looking at who else in the band was available. I was quite content with that situation. People just need to lighten up sometimes.
I was waiting for someone to bring up the location, location, location argument. Imagine having a small family style restaurant right across the street from a really popular "destination dining establishment" in a tourist trap. You make your living on the overflow. It's like that.

Off topic again: My brother had a T shirt which read something like "******* Wild West Saloon: Liquor Up Front, Poker in the Rear".

I meet a lot of single women in the 50-65 range...it ain't always a pretty sight. Gravity can be a cruel mistress.

Did you see the episode of "Two and a Half Men" where Allen hooks up with the "older" lady and comes in the next morning in stun mode?

He says to Charlie in reference to her..

"She KNOWS things!"
