HUGE TRADE GONE BAD

I say EVERYONE that is involved, immediately go to the local Craigslist in their area.

So far I've heard at least 2 places in WA that they are, as well on their YouTube video that atrocious looking guitar player says they're in Everette WA

Anyway figure it out and EVERYONE start posting stuff about these douchebags.

Make sure the entire area knows what type of crap these punks are pulling.

JPATA / Twix is reading all of this and I hope he ships my Bass tomorrow morning. It is very unfortunate that the locals were closed. and apparently are over the weekend.

JPATA ships my Bass Back and await contact from the authorities. If this was isolated I think the public lashing would do it, but with this horrible pattern requires that more be done. I hope the fear of Law Enforcement does not encourage you to burn my bass out back as this thread is exhibit A.

Everyone that helped, I am forever grateful and do see that you are right. This needs to be addressed by more than Batman.

Who by the way did make a stop to Evens house, as I was told he was "Strong Armed" into making things right.

Can you Forgive my reluctance TB?[/QUOTE]

Yes.

We just want this guy caught because its really a low thing to do , I want your bass back and I woud love to make him pay for what he has done to others. I am just unwilling to let him simply box a bass up because **** hit the fan, he needs to pay for his wrong doings and stop making money off misery of trusting people , like yourself.

That bass he sent you is worth 100$, if that.

I would call the cops in your town and let them handle it, there is no reason not to do this.

I think the problem is there is no listed direct number for direct law enforcement around here anymore for any of the police departments or sheriff. SOP if you live here is to dial 911 anytime you need the cops, I really don't know how you'd do that from out of state except for maybe dialing 0 and asking if they can connect you to the 911 operator in Snohomish County Washington. That might work actually.

That's what i figured, and i'm hopeful you do indeed get your bass back, but the best chance of getting this guy to stop doing this is to get the authorities involved. Isn't mail fraud a federal offense?

Yes, it most definitely would be IF the basses were sent via USPS. If they went Fed-X or UPS, then I'm not so sure it applies.

21 pages...read them all. Crazy event, sorry you've had to go through this. Hope the bass ends up back in your hands in the same condition it left in.

JPATA...I don't say this often because I like to encourage people, but stop playing bass and start flipping burgers.

OK, so if this is the real deal, you have to report this to the local police in Connecticut. They take your statement, your evidence and an investigator contacts the PD out there. You will need to do it during regular business hours, but this is how things are done. This is a crime that crosses state lines. When I had a situation many years ago, this was one of the stepping stones. If you think it is worth it, you could go explain your situation to a lawyer and they may be able to tell you about options or help you deal with the police. My situation was much more serious, so in my case the lawyer was a necessity.
