I GET IT. P BASSES ARE AWESOME.

I like a lot of different basses. One of my favorite things to do is go to GC after work (it's a few blocks away), and play all the different basses through all the different amps. Fun fact: my GC has a great selection and a wonderful staff. They know me by name. I really like active humbucker basses, like my new Ibby SR405EQM, but man... Those Ps!!! I didn't get it at first. At all. I thought active humbucker basses and jazz basses outstripped Ps by a mile. I own several P/J basses, and ALL of them have the P pups soloed. So here's to being happily wrong!!! :D
Your Ibanez SR405EQM Bass has passive PowerSpan Duel Coil humbuckers, its the 3-band EQ that's active. P-Basses are awesome.:) :bassist::bassist:
