If the kid who makes my Blizzard drops it on the floor as he serves it to me, and then is cool about it, apologizes, and quickly makes me another one, I don't see the point in complaining.
Once again[Anecdote Flag on]
I've witnessed UPS (OOPS) deliverymen kick, chuck, toss, and otherwise violate packages (*even those marked FRAGILE) delivered to my house. In contrast, I have never witnessed Fed-Ex mishandle deliveries.
Could it be the influence of LABOR UNIONS?
One delivery was "lost" and required filing a claim. The errant OOPS driver said they couldn't find the front door, so they left it "by the garage." Since the house has a front porch to the left of the two car garage, it is obvious the delivery person was a liar.

I doubt that our "attack spiders" are any larger than the next door neighbor's...
Ironically, I'm reading this at DQ while waiting for a Blizzard.
Is that why TRADE UNION is a euphemism for organized crime?Worked for UPS both Air and Ground as a supervisor for about 5 years. There are policies in place for package handling BUT when a supervisor goes to write up an employee or take disciplinary action, their UNION REPS file grievances immediately and 9 times out of 10 the employees does not get any type of reprimand or write up due to Union policies. It took me 7 times to have an employee fired for stealing and how they wound up firing her was she forged a Doctors name on an excuse and he threatened to sue the Union and UPS! The stealing offenses were swept under the rug by them! So don't be surprised if you again receive another banged up package and the claims take forever to get handled too! If you ship with them make sure you really package your items to withstand abuse with UPS!

Everybody come on over, I'm having a PARTY!!!All I can say is, be glad MF screwed up your address. Because, 1) you were already at UPS with an actual helpful person to handle your claim and 2) I, we, and the rest of the whole internet can read your real name and (wrong?) address off the box photo you posted here.
They say things happen for a reason. I hope you get a better bass in the end.
I appreciate the responses. Once I have an instrument in my hands, I'll have something else to post.I can't believe everyone is still talking about UPS guys. I figured this would be a 10-15 response post. Common guys, we have better stuff to do with our time...it's UPS.
