I Present the IdiotBox Effects's Blower Box

It's a great time to be alive if fine fuzz is part of one's diet.
Totally! There are so many amazing fuzzes available these days. I love it! When I first got into fuzz, they were much harder to find.
This one sounds great and looks cool too. Nice price. Like the others, I'd like to hear what it's more mellow side is like. Thanks for the demo.

Sounds like fun for messing around, but I almost always like tones on the edge of breakup, but not quite there. That's how I run my B7K. I didn't get the feeling that's what this pedal is about... Am I wrong?

That's a great question because I like the same thing you do which is why I have always loved the B3K and B7K it's distortion but it's not? I've owned both versions of the B3K and B7K I would pick the Blower Box even if it were more than both. I love 90's grunge and I was playing some Pumpkins and I had this pedal turned down enough so it added such a nice rich complement to Billy's tone. I got an email from Matt this morning and he's struggling with how to price his pedals he wants people to be able to afford them but he also wants to at least break even I hope the young man stays around for a long time.

I would pay more for it based on what I've heard about it. I can't wait to get mine. But yes I would pay the price if it were more expensive.

This pedal sounds like it has the tones I like from the Amptweaker Tight series, but in a simpler, much cheaper package. I'm going to have an envelope filter shootout soon, and if one of them goes, a Blower Box will be coming my way!

I can compare it to the rat king by fuzzrocious. I like the BB better. It's cleaner and has a more tweakable EQ. The bass is capable of dialing massive low end where as the low end retention with the RK is just alright. Plus the size of the BB wins out. And it looks a lot cooler ;) plus again, I simply think it sounds better. There's an inherent tone to the BB that's not in the RK, it has a great rat characteristic yet it has it's own voice combined. I'd choose the BB over the RK any day of the week.

+1 Well said sir.

and ordered one this morning. Do you guys know if Matt has these in stock, or is he running on the fly? I just ask so I don't get too overly anxious to get it and know that it may be some time. I got an order confirmation from them saying once the pedal is shipped I would get a tracking number.

Pretty sweet lookin' pedal I must say!

If you are able to put it in the cart it's in stock.

Figured it would be fitting to post a pic of mine here :)

I think this pedal is/looks so cool looking that I have it as my wallpaper on my lock screen on my phone.

It's the overall volume of the pedal The controls are from L to R - Low cut/boost, Distortion, High cut/boost.

The low boost keeps the beef and the high boost adds the snap.

I really dig the design Matt came up with on this pedal. And the output doesn't get on the way like I thought it would. I have to say too that out of all the dirt pedals I've ever tried, the BB retains low end like no other. It can dial in too much if you enter needed it actually. And the treble is so subtle yet so useful and versatile IMO.

+1 I actually had to turn the bass down
