I Present the IdiotBox Effects's Blower Box

I just got my Hao Rust Ride Bass Driver and man these two together are thicker than thieves the bass driver is a pedal I've always wanted to try and man it does the heavy thick distortion tone very well I put it and the Blower Box in a loop the Blower Box is set low and the Bass Driver is set high and I'm in heaven.

This pedal has found a permanent home on my board! For those of you that have concerns about losing low end... Nope, notta, zilch! The low end is not impacted. I'm thinking Matt is going to be swamped with producing this pedal as the popularity grows in a fairly rapid manner. Mjac and Gregmon, thanks a million for getting this info out us that didn't know about it!

I'd like to stay and type more, but I have a BB to attend to!

Haha, awesome!!! Enjoy! I feel the same way. I was playing with it last night and just kept turning it on. I couldn't stop. And then I added the Bwhammy. Wowzaa!

Any word yet Andrew??

I already knew I liked the pedal but the more I use it the more I come to love it. It's a lot more versatile than it's over the top thick distortion characterization it's getting from being connected to Blackie.
It does mild-medium drive really well too and sounds killer that way too. I like it a lot as a stand alone but it is so damn good coupled with the Brimstone XD-1.

Brimstone, BlowerBox, OFD are my current holy trinity. I love the o.g. Guv'nor, LoMenzo HyperDrive, OCD, Microsynth, Rat Tail, etc. too, but the trio is meeting all my current needs so well. It's really satisfying to run through a variety of mild to full bore distortion and fuzz sounds and love every one.
The BlowerBox is a wonderful surprise. It's invitingly intuitive to dial in, holds a variety of great dirt tones, is a super value, and looks cool. Don't let the Voivod connection fool you, this pedal will treat you right in so much more music than metal.

I can't wait for David and the boys at brimstone to rerelease the XD1. There's no way I would've been able to make it fit on my board now. But since you said what you said Andrew, given that the OFD and BB are my go to dirts now, I'm stoked that they all mix together well. Otoh, I may have to pick and choose when I want to use my B7K. And that still may not be an option for me. I should've done more extensive testing without it when I had my XD1.
