Thanks buddy. I wish I had the know how to really do a decent demo. I have an interface and a computer but I just don't know how to record that kind of stuff. Never studied up. It would've been nice to get the bass to come through. I played with the settings a little bit in the first one without the POG2 to try and show off the low gain settings too.

I thought about getting one of these but I thought it was more of a one trick pony. Glad to see it's versatile. I have a Blasteroid and I love it. Idiotbox makes great stuff. I put my sticker over the RCA logo on my TV.

I was going back on forth on getting one. Kinda glad they sold out so quickly. I haven't had my RK for too long. Now I can get to know it some more without jumping on another Rat pedal. I don't have any problems with the low end on my RK when paired with my VT Bass. Shakes the whole damn house like there is a Jet 10 feet over my head. Im sure this Blower Box is pretty gnarly and I might scoop one up when they are back on the production line. Until then I will enjoy the sweet Rat tones from my RK.

The clips of it make me think more along the lines of the old Boss Heavy Metal, the HM2 than Rat.

It's def a rat. I don't think my recordings did it justice. Even in matts video I couldn't make out what type of dirt it was. When he told me it was rat based I was a little surprised. Then I got it and plugged it and quickly realized and heard it. It's def a rat.

Here's a couple soundcloud entries of me just messin round. The second one I have the POG2 goin with it. I ran all my preamps with it, the B7K, submarine and BDPG. Played my P with EMG's.

I love that effect at the end of the pog2 clip. What were you using for that?

It's just the POG2 and the BB. I was vibratoing the notes more at the end and I may have played a chord.

Yeah, you can't hear it. You can in the actual tone, if you were to see me twist the knob and be in the room with me. I'm sure you all with know what we are talking about as soon as you get the BB plugged in and up and screaming.

Just picked one up. I'm kind of hoping it complements my Rat Tail instead of kicking it off the board, I'm sure I can find use for both.. hopefully..

From the demos, I'd say it seems to offer something different, even if it is a Rat-based distortion. It sounded huge on the video, enough to take a punt at that price anyway.

I'm case anyone's curious, the BB stacks really well with the ODB3 and OFD. Raunchy as hell!!

Anyone able to compare this to the Iron Pig and/or Rat Tail? Or even the Rat setting on the OFD?

I have an OFD and a rat king. I like the BB better. I like the rat king better than the OFD's raton, but, the OFD's rat is no slouch. With the having all three, I chose the BB and OFD and took the RK off the board. I like the EQ on the BB better and the sound more as well. It's just a really sweet sounding rat box. It can be smooth and mellow or loud and raunchy doomy. Plus it looks more bad a** than any other pedal on my board

I just got mine, I haven't had a chance to plug it up, but it's probably the most beautiful looking pedal I've owned to date... that is without getting it customized after the fact.
