I think there is something wrong with my bass

I want to thank everybody for the advice. This is not a troll thread. I want to play jazz like Marcus Miller, not rock and troll music.

I admit I am kind of new to this, and I did not check the battery or plug in the pick guard.

Is there more stuff I have to buy to plug in the pick guard? Also, do you think my bass takes C or D batteries? Probably C because D batteries are too fat. Can I use a power supply from my Talent pedal instead of a battery? Music is very complicated. No one told me that before I started. I should of taken up photography instead.

If I buy a Rebel Eos will I take pictures like Andre Agassi, or am I going to go down another money rathole like this Marcus Miller debacle?

Interesting. You sound like you have a firm handle on these kind of things. Here's something that I've often wondered that maybe you can anwser: If Marcus Miller had a hand transplant of, say Paul McCartney's hands and strictly followed the John Entwhistle diet plan, what would it sound like when he played bass clarinet?

He couldn't do it because the hands wouldn't cooperate and John Entwhistle's diet plan would give him a bad case of flatulence. Now Geddy Lee might pull it off!
