I loved the Bass, it just had a ton of fret buzz, sent it to mike and he milled the frets. I got it back and it was just as bad..
he wanted me to come to his place with it but at the time I had just had a stroke so traveling wasn't a good thing. so rather than dealing with the stress anymore I traded it in for an Ibanez lol..
to be Honest I picked up the Ibanez 505 as a joke because it was so ugly.. started playing it and was blow away with the sound.. I ended up trading the Mtd for it, then when the pb655 came out I grabbed that and it's been my main bass ever since..
