The only sr 300 i would consider would be the white one, just a nice simple classic look to it, maybe the red. I wish they put maple fingerboards on more of these as well. The iron pewter with maple board they did a few years back looked awesoms. Also sapphire blue and maple would make my jaw drop ☺Ibanez makes such great basses with such awful finishes. The SR500 is the poster child of superbly playing and sounding bass with a cheap, fragile finish, and that's not a beginner level bass at $600 or so new. I am sorely tempted to buy a used SR500 mahogany bass and refinish it in Tru-Oil. If people like those SR300 colors, good on ya, not me! I can't fault them for value though, even the cheapest Ibanez basses crush everything in their price range.
