Here is my new addition. Prettier than I thought it would be and that's saying something. Plays and sounds as good through my practice amp as any Inanez Premium level bass I've owned. Can't wait to stretch it's legs tonight through my main rig.

Good to read so many good posts about the new IBANEZ SR 755 with the nordstrands. I ordered a new IBANEZ btb 675 and it was flawed in the build quality..take too long to explain. Any way after a bit of talking I decided on the sr755 as a replacement. Now I can't wait to get it..should be here I'm 3 days or so. I will post my thoughts.

I had a SR755 in my hands earlier this afternoon, and must say that I was impressed with the comfort and playability that it offered. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to sit down and plug it in to hear its tone. If I'm not happy with my SRFF805 when it arrives (any time now) I'm going to buy the SR755.

Well long story short, I got my SRFF805BKS a few weeks ago and love everything about it except for the tone. Don't get me wrong, the tone is good, just not quite my cup of tea. So I returned it for a new SR755NTF which should arrive in a couple of days.

Today, I tested a SR655 NTF at my local Guitar Center. For its price range, it is a very good bass and one of the better options available on the market.

Overall, I am big fan of the SR series, especially the Premium and Prestige versions, and love the 16.5mm string spacing.
