Less than four weeks away....

And counting. Looks good for me making it. I'll probably travel light, but if anyone sees something in my profile they really want to hear, please let me know.

For those of you making the trek and would like to enjoy a good brew or two, here are some suggestions...

The IPA brews are popular, however, I dig the XXX stout. The nachos are pretty awesome.

Sockeye Brewery
Perch Amber and the Dagger Falls IPA are pretty awesome. They have a Porter that kicks butt too.

Flying Pie Pizza
For those from the Portland area, the name will sound familiar. An excellent selection of bottles and a few choice brews on tap. The Triple Pi Ale (belgium) is pretty tasty. Oh and the pizza is pretty darn good too.

Bittercreek Alehouse
An excellent selection of local and regional brews on tap. The sammich and burgers are pretty good.

A word of caution: This place will suck you in. Killer selection of brews on tap and bottled. Excellent flatbread pizzas and the atmosphere is very comfy. That said, I think I may have just talked myself in to going there this weekend.

don't forget the ram restaurant. my friend kevin is the head brew master there. other than being a red wings fan (and having a red wings flag on the wall behind one of the kettles), he's a great guy. he won an award for one of his beers.

and the Highlands Hollow Brewhouse (used to be called harrison hollow) will always hold a special place in my heart.
