What did I do to deserve that?......:(:crying:....

I'm just picking on you big guy. It simply meams that you are on the list of my favorite people here.... people with whom I am comfortable enough to joke around.

There is context leading up to that post that you missed. :D

I do not, in fact, think you are an idiot.

You didn't miss a thing.

It took me most of my life to understand the "affection" some guys were throwing at me when I thought they were just being jerks, and once I figured it out my reaction was:

MEH.
No worries, anytime you want to have fun with me feel free to make fun of my ...
Be prepared for a " Why I oughta ..." reply. :D

I blame technology. We have created a world in which the stupid are able to survive, breed, and multiply. In an earlier age they would have been killed & eaten by wild beasts long before getting to this point.
The sad fact of today is that smart people don't have children and stupid people do.

I still haven't really figured it out, TBH, LOL!
That whole, "My team is better than yours!" thing strikes me as sophomoric at best & it can get violent.

There's a local band who have members living all around me & I bump into members on their own from time to time & they like to trash-talk about the other members.
I think they're trying to be funny, but it's off-putting to me.

I recently took part in a paid focus group where I sat at a table with others of various demographics and offered opinions on some health products. You would not believe some of the idiotic statements that were made and the ridiculous questions that were asked. It was mind-blowing.

Care to share it with the class, not all of us can read minds.
I mean I can but the other would like to read it.

I value your point of view. Many times I've questioned what you find off-putting, but many times I've questioned why more people DON'T find some of these things off-putting.

idiocracy.jpg I guess it's time for this again... I get the "IRS is gonna get you" call at least once a week. I've never listened to it long enough to get to the iTunes bit; I wait until she gets to the "you will be arrested by the local cops" bit, and hang up. I think that, and the missing words/poor syntax, is kinda funny. You'd think that the IRS would threaten people with a Federal Marshall, not "local cops". Unless you were an idiot, I guess... Honestly, though, it's reached the point around here, that having to deal with herds of dim-bulbs has become the norm. None of their antics are remarkable enough to remember, specifically; which is sad.. and scary.:rollno:

I used to work at tech support for comcast and there’s sone gold there. I heard this one from a friend.

One day a customer calls lets call him John well John was having problems with his internet really weak signal, they went through the usual process, send a signal, soft reset and hard reset after all this John still had issues in this point my friend actually tried to solve the issue, comcast has a tool that can actually boost the signal but my friend wanted to have fun so he told John to grab a potato, wrap it in tin foil and put it on top of the modem Jhon did all of this, then my friend sends the boost and the potato magically works.

But that wasn’t all just before hanging up John being the genius that he is asks my friend. How often do I have to change the potato?.
