But if you reread your first post in this thread as quoted above, you can see how the most obvious interpretation of your comments is that people only do their job for a paycheck and have no emotional connection to their work.
After all, the post you quoted doesn't make the claim that luthiers have an attachment to each bass after built but rather that they put their "heart and soul" into building it. I had a similar passion for my work when I was a teacher but that doesn't mean that I had a lifelong attachment to each student that passed through my classroom.
Others may be making a different point, but my view is that yes, the guys from Fodera bring all of their passion and experience to bear in creating their instruments as do people who take pride in their work in all industries.
If you'd started with the argument that luthiers don't maintain any emotional attachment to basses after they are built I doubt you'd have gotten any argument. But you started with the notion that it building basses was solely a for profit enterprise and that no one ever puts their "heart,soul, wisdom, experience, energy, time and love" into their work.
