My Daughter and I just got back from doing a pretty serious local trail. I was in 4 Low through the entire thing and really got bogged down in some of the deep sandy parts. We crossed two streams and went over some serious log and rock trail "improvements" Guess what?? Only a bit of normal "needs a wash" dirt in my truck

You don't have mud in Florida you have sand. Come up here to Virginia and try that; you will be scrubbing for hours.

We have lots of mud during the rainy season. My only point is, it IS possible to go offroad without getting covered in mud........Thus justifying a 5 ton pickup

Just trying to narrow down your very broad shot When I go offroading, I usually wash the rig at the first car wash I can find. In my experience, that's what most people do. I'm sure that people with 125K, 5 ton pickups do the same thing

I drove this behemoth off the bus's birthplace at Prevost Car in Quebec:

We named the bus Cassandra. She is a Prevost H3-45; we drove her all the way home to SoCal. Fun trip, saw family, ate at lots of Cracker Barrels and I threw one of those rocker charis under the bus to take home.

I have no idea if this commercial is fake (though it probably is). I do believe the physics of it are possible with the right car, the right speed, and the perfectly crafted corkscrew track. Maybe the commercial is real? (maybe not? )

As a teen I had the good fortune of working at Buick dealership when these were rolling off the line. When ever one came in off the truck, it seemed everyone had to take it for a "test drive". At the time this was the fastest domestic in the States. 0-60 in 5.4 seconds, and a top speed of 124Mph. (with the limiter removed it could do 150Mph).

The commercial is fake. Although it is possible, but I doubt it with that car. You have to produce as much down force as a formula one car to be able to do it. Plus, you have to find someone crazy enough to drive the car, which MS is not.

Also, I think a regular car engine does not work upside down. It might be okay for the short amount of time, but not any longer.

Something to do with the fuel deliverance and lubrication, I'd imagine.
