I do believe we won in California last (or was it this?) season.

Last season RIT won FSAE West (California). Which is a great achievement, but the competition in Germany is pretty much the unofficial world championship. In 2008 we won it, unfortunately last season we dropped out in the endurance, so we came in 18th (of 80), otherwise we were either first or second. RIT came in 28th at FSG last year, they also didn't finish the endurance.
 
Close, lockheed martin x-35B as far as I can tell. The boeing x-32 has the intake right underneath the nose whereas the LM has it either side. Actually I'm pretty sure that photo is the f-35b which was developed from the LM x-35

That bottom one is a Northrop xp-56

Well I got the number right, anyway. The second plane in my reply is the Blohm und Voss Bv-141, a WW-II German observation/recconnaisance aircraft.
