If there was a Talkbass Filter???

Why is everyone being so hard on the peeps that arent on here that often and are curious or what some advice or guidance on which way to go for a new bass/amp/strings/effects etc?? I think its cool to help someone out when they first get started. We all have to ask questions somewhere and get feedback. Why not TB?! Is that not what one of the purposes for it is? To get together with other bassists from across the world and spectrum of music and tastes to get opinions and learn from one another. I'll admit I see some "odd" answers to queries at times but thats when I take what I want and leave the rest. If you dont want to read it, dont read it.

I do however agree with the overpowering/underpowering and subjects of that nature. Its an endless argument of whos right and wrong and in the end usually leaves everyone in that thread more confused than they were when they entered it. Thats just lil ol me and my opinions though. Yeah, there are certain threads, "whats the best.......... for metal?!", stuff like that. But again, I just dont enter those threads. It aint that hard. Aint gotta be all rude.

Anything that asks "What Is Best".
The phrase "What Is Best" should always be replaced with "What Do You Own".
Respondents can then simply state what they own which, of course, is always what is best.
But then I guess that is what happens anyway...
Never mind.
