A nice pair of older bc rich import warlock basses with the shorter body length then the modern ones have.

A basseen bass with torzal twist neck.

A warwick dolphin

A couple monson's.

A Moser or two.

my current bass as 9th one.

And a early washburn abt bass from the early 80's with active eq and the crackle finish.

Thats ten. Ok list for now. Lol.

If I were collecting it would probably be just for fun, and for my own interest... So!..

1. My current Ibanez btb 1206e would stick around!
2. Fodera MG style imperial 6 with a nice dark burl top
3. Fodera Monarch 4 string, with a holly top, maple board with ebony block inlay, give it a 70's fender Jazz vibe
4. Ritter 6 string roya, nice crazy maple top, in a nice amber hue.
5. 75' Fender Jazz (the real deal in fender jazz basses in my opinion) Natural!
6. Lakland Joe osborn (I forgot the new number distinction) in marcus orange, they sound good, and I think that color pops!
7. A nice (as deemed by myself) old fretless music man sting ray
8. A Carl Thompson fretless 6 string, nice long scale, big tone! Sounds fun to me
9. Carl Thompson 32 scale 4 string, fun!
10. A CB, probably a 4 string, I think his basses are going to keep getting better and better in the years to come, and yeah.. I want one!

I think that list would keep me happy for a very long time.

I would not collect instruments just for the sake of collecting. All my instruments would have to be players. That said, here's my list:
