iGiG Bags at NAMM...

I own one and it's without a doubt, the best gigbag you could ever own. I usually try to avoid blanket statements but I challenge anyone to find a better bag. I love it because of course it has pockets galore but it has more padding than the Cadillac One has armor :p. I really dislike using cases because they're clumsy and heavy and with this I feel that I get a similar amount of protection without the annoyance of an actual case. I think the only think left now is for iGig to make a double gigbag. I seriously don't want to get a double bag until they make one, lol.

I've had mine for about 2 months... great bag. I can hold:

* any one of my basses
+ LMII or MB2-500 head
+ Lyrics Binder
+ Toolkit including extra set of strings
+ Zoom H4 Recorder
+ Strap
+ Cables

with my Pedaltrain Mini & Schroeder Mini 12L = one trip for everything.

Bought it from The Low End for $165 shipped. Brian may have a couple left.

I own one and it's the best Bag/case I have ever had. I can fit all of my cables,charts straps ECt with no problem and its great looking also. It's not a feather weight but is comparable with the Incase in weight and quality IMO. I got mine on here from Miko

I though the igig bag was great in many ways. Tons of
storage. Great straps. Good protection and functionality.
My only issue is the weight. Especially after using the
Mooradian bag, which seems to weigh at least half of what
the igig weighs. Aside from that, its a killer bag. Maybe a
little expensive.

for me the added protection is worth the weight. I have flown several times with my Igig and the balance on my back was perfect for long walks thru the airport

The backpack straps may just be my favorite feature out of all and I sure felt the need to point it out to anyone who asked me about the bags. I've said over and over that it feels like you can go hiking with the bag. It just fits great against your back and the upper adjustment straps to pull the top flat on your back are awesome.

And to add, the Anaheim Convention Center was about a mile away from my Mother's house which is where I parked my truck... And walking back after the show was no issue with the bag strapped on my back.

I'm short 5'7", and to answer a couple questions. I have a generic 30.00 bag for my Tbird. I always use cases when possible, but for those days I want to toss it in the bag, I just do and you are right about the "duck under doorframes" ..even with my shortness.

as far as this one carrying 6 beers, and more--lol ya it does. The padding is adequate, but I certainly would not test it by dropping the thing off a 5 foot wall onto cement neck first.

just a stupid pic I took a few months ago to show a couple people how high this bag sits. the straps are very comfy, and it holds the thing on my back balanced, flat and straight however there is a HUGE difference in 30.00 compared to 150.00 for "safety".

I would always recommend a GOOD bag to those who only use a bag for transporting their stuff, and from all these reviews---there's your ticket gentlemen.
