IK TONEX pedal

thank you. But I’m still missing something obviously. How the heck do I get the screen you’re seeing there?? Where he’s changing things on the pedal? Like the “editor” on the computer. I cannot get that on my PC….
do you have the ToneX software installed?
the more i understand the ToneX ONE, the more i love the user interface
Like @ 10:28 he pulls up the editor screen. I can’t seem to get that anywhere on my PC. I’ve downloaded the IK product manager. I see that I’ve downloaded the tone X SE software but I cannot find it on my computer to open it!
Ok I found it. Not sure why it didn’t install a shortcut for me to follow. I found it through my search bar in the task bar. So I’m up and running now.
How many IRs can you run at one in the tonex one pedal? Can you stack a few?
I have the two notes opus for IRs which I can run two at the same time, but is the idea of running a tonex one pedal with rveverb and compression IRs in front of the opus cab sims?
I read about some software that you can stack multiple IRs and output a new one. Is that IK software?

So I had some time with it over last weekend. It does sound pretty darn great. I didn't spend a ton of time with it, but some of the bass stuff I found sounded wonderful.
My issue is I'm not sure how I'm going to use it! haha I mainly got it because I think its a cool technology and I wanted a taste. I didn't need it. So we'll see what I end up doing with it over the next several months. It may use it as a quick two preset setting to cycle between two sounds/effects (more than likely that's what I'll end up using it for) or I may just use it at home as a headphone amp with added effects/amps with it. I found a couple Blower Box captures and I was very impressed. It really captured the smoothness yet jaggedness of it without it sounding digital at all that I could hear. There are also a couple Mesa captures that sounded amazing. And that was really just the tip of the tip of the iceberg...

My current approach is to create 20 presets of my fave amp captures with a York 410 IR or an Aguilar 112 IR
ToneX sounds amazing with 3rd party IRs
Plus, I have the MS-60B+ feeding into the ToneX One for HPF, preamps, comps, etc.
Then live, I hope to scroll through the 20 presets until something fits

Yes, I planned that as well (loading 20 presets I dig into it so I can cycle through all them when needed/wanted).
How are you planning on utilizing a setup with the IR’s? What’s the other components of your setup and what kind of amp/cab rig (if any) will you use live?
Never got too into the IR world because I normally run an amp n cab and play live. But I’ve been recording more and more with my band and I think IR’s could really be of help sometimes since I’ve been recording more and more sans amp n cab and right out of my quad cortex. I know the QC has IR capabilities as well, but again, haven’t used them in any situation yet.

it keeps reffering to fluid IRs thiugh. Is that their proprietary technology? Does it do the same thing with static/generic IRs?

I need a little help with something. I just picked up a tonex one yesterday and I'm still adapting to the learning curve being that I'm more familiar with Helix.
My main issue is coming about when I have the pedal plugged into my computer and I'm trying to create tones in the tonex desktop app. I create what sounds to be a great tone, and then I go to move the tone into the pedal via the librarian and when it's loaded onto the pedal, all of the weight of the tone and the character is gone, it just gets super thin all of the sudden.
I think what is happening is I'm having an issue with monitoring when plugged into my computer. I believe what's going on is the tone that's stored in the pedal is still active while I'm mixing in the app and what I'm hearing is a combination of the patch on the pedal and what I'm trying to create in the app, then, when I load the patch onto the pedal, since I no longer have the original tone on the pedal underneath it, all the bottom drops out so to speak.
I did read somewhere that you can monitor what your creating in the app by switching the tonex one into stomp mode and then bypassing stomp mode. I have tried this a few times (I was doing so in the app. Maybe I need do do so on the actual pedal?), but all I get is what sounds like a direct signal not affected by the changes I'm making in the app.
If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong and can set me on the right path it would be greatly appreciated. I here a lot of potential with this thing, but the user experience has been a tad frustrating at this point.

I only have the Tonex, not the One. With it, you can basically double up when monitoring through the computer if you don’t turn the footswitch off on the Tonex. Maybe make sure the pedal is bypassed.
took me some time to figure this out.
i use Studio One through my Babyface Pro.
when using ToneX MAX/ONE librarian, i make sure i don't have any USB monitoring through the ToneX ONE pedal.
i have my ToneX ONE and MS-60B+ routed through a sub-mixer (mono) into MIC 1 of my Babyface Pro.
sounds frigging amazing.
i love the gain staging of the ToneX ONE pedal far more than through the MAX software.
i have the MS-60B+ RIGHT OUTPUT patched to my ToneX ONE input (after FX, before amp)
with this routing, i have the MS-60B+ in channel 2/3 L/Mono of my LV7 mixer
and ToneX ONE in channel 4/5 L/Mono of my LV7 mixer
this way i can blend the MS-60B+ and ToneX
last bit is deciding between a QSC or RCF monitor for live.

I just watched a video that said the tonex pedal has an interface mode so that you can accurately monitor the software sounds but I see no such interface mode being available on the tonex one.
Are you saying I should run monitoring through a different audio interface? I have an audient I can use, just want to confirm that's what you mean.
