There is a USB port, but no mention of MIDI support on it. It looks like it's just for their software.

IK TONEX pedal

I have 2 of the original Tonex pedals. I’d love to size them down but midi would be a must.
I am not a MIDI user myself, but it does seem to be a bummer that an all-digital pedal such as this doesn’t utilize MIDI control.
This would be interesting since there were a few sounds in the Tonex that I liked. And an amp + dirt + comp + tuner in a mini pedal could free a lot of space and weight for commuting.
But the IK license system is a mess. I’ve seen lately a lot of tonex pedals sold for less than this mini one because licenses are not transferred, people is keeping the software and selling the pedal, and nobody seems to be sure of how IK system works.

How is the Tonex for bass? I am maybe interested in the new Tonex One pedal. Same as the big one but in a smaller format. How are the bass and cab models? Are they better or worse than say the Boss GT1000 bass models?
That’s my understanding. You can do either A/B profile setup or on/profile off/bypass. To get a different profile or ir, you need to hook up to a computer.
Great selection of bass amp captures.
Far better than the Boss. I had the Boss Core for a minute. Ugh. Maybe the new AIRD amps in the new 90B will trickle into GT refreshed products.

I have the software, but didn't buy into the hardware
For the price, this new pedal is an easy buy
But, like the new Zoom, it's weeks from shipping.
I prefer companies to announce shipping product.
I didn’t have the Tonex until after I sold my GT-1000, but I have since sold my Helix Floor - which beat out the GT. And I still have the Tonex. So I like it better than the Helix, which I liked better than the GT. Only you can be the real judge of what’s better for you. I think if you have a pedalboard with effects that you like - the ONE would make a great addition.
I like my original Tonex enough that I have 2. Probably not gonna get the new one since I prefer the functionality of the original. That said, it does sound great on bass.
ok thanks. I kind of like the Boss, although it only has three or four bass amps. But these amps sound pretty good and very useable. But who needs 20 or more bass amps? I also have an Axe fx.
But I think of buying the new Tonex One pedal as a spare amp and also as a spare guitar amp. Or to take it to sessions where you don't know which amp there will be. It's so small you can put it in your pocket.
So I just got an email about this new release (they are taking pre-orders). I currently use an HX Stomp for a lot of my FOH supported gigs. There are many of them where all I really need is one patch of an Ampeg B-15 and maybe a splash of compression. If you're telling me I can load this little bugger with an amp sim and I can chuck this in my bass bag and that is all I need to go on a gig..... Sign me up!
preparing for the ToneX ONE pedal, i've been trying to FINALLY figure out ToneX MAX.
getting consistent levels has been a challenge.
minor epiphany.
disabling the ToneX CABs and using 3rd party IRs AFTER the ToneX MAX plugin.
BOOM - that did it for me.

Is the footswitch on the ONE a soft-touch non-clicky version? It is a gripe for me. I had the X-Time for a bit, and though I liked the tones-the clicky switches turned me off.
