I just saw this post this morning... and feel shocked at Chef/Alan's passing. I always looked forward to his posts on multiple topics... he got me to buy a Nordy VJ 4. I will miss his presence on TB deeply. RIP.

In the spirit of Chef, let’s all work to keep this forum a positive place for everyone to convene.
You’re not alone. A few of us have been through one. I was not aware Chef was fighting his own battle. It’s always a bit more personal when you’re fighting or, have fought a cancer battle yourself when you hear of someone else going through the same thing.This is a little shocking to me , I had no idea he was sick. He was a model of fairness and could always make the tough decision. I can only say as I fight my own war against the big C , God please accept his soul . Chef you will be missed .
