I'm thinking 2-12s, but which one(s)...?

I have one of those nifty little Kustom KXB500 and am looking to pair it up with a 2-12 cab(s). Beings that I do not have many to choose from and listen to locally, I'm going to rely on the collective TB members to help choose one for me.

I've done some research and the list, so far, is...

TC Electronic RS212
Aggie GS112 x2
Eden D112XST x2
Eden EX112 x2

Any other suggestions that I need to be looking at?

Not what you asked, but I'll be the first to suggest a pair of 1-12 cabs; you end up with a 2-12 cab, but you can bring 1-12 when that's all you need and 2ea 1-12 cabs will usually fit into cars, trunks, etc that a single, larger 2-12 won't fit. I'm actually thinking of adding two more 1-12 cabs, for that once a year gig when you want 4-12s.

I have a gs 212 and like it. I would personally never buy single 12s; for me they are nearly useless, unless you have two of them. That's fine until you need two more, which will happen to some of you, and then that's a lot of money in speaker cabs to achieve a 412. 2 8ohm 212s are the way to go

Out of the list I'd go for the Aggie, then TC.

I'll play the Canadian Card, Traynor DNBX12 x 2.

Sturdy, reasonable price. Not the lightest at 42lbs/19kg, but that's why they're sturdy.

Hi Scott,

Not knowing your location or budget, I cast one more vote for the CN212 (as the owner of two).

The idea of two 1X12s is fine too, but gets pricey. If you can manage the 2X12, and the CN's vertical form factor is great, then I'd recommend sticking with that.

Cool little amp, by the way.

I downsized a few years ago and took a chance on the Genz Benz Focus 112LT. I love them. They are soooooooo light. Price was right. Rated at 200w each. I have two.
Practice with one and sometimes gig with one but often two. Not sure if you can find them. GB still has them on their site but not sure what's up with that company these days.
