Gears of War anyone?

Okay damnit we need the Mythbusters now ...
Theory ... full auto / versus semi auto in a slow moving zombie apocolypse. Which mode of fire is better.
Known constents;
1) Shooting them in the brain or blowing them apart the only way to stop them.
Factors to test;
1) Static, stable platform shooter (ie no moving).
2) Unstable platform shooter (ie shooting on the move).
Both factors to be tested using semi-auto and full auto weapons.
A "kill" requires a shot to head, removing the head, or totally dismembering the body.
Variables;
1) Ammo supply. Limited to realistic amount that a person could carry.
2) Ammo type. Should be limited to realistic types that a person could scavange from locally available stores. Sorry even in a total meltdown you are not getting into the supply magazines of the local military base. You might be able to scav from overrun troops, but that would be limited in quantities.

Let us not forget that a good bash to the head will do it as well.
I've seen zombies stabbed in the head that kept coming. You need to split a lot of tissue to take them out. A good bash, beheading, big shot to the head, blowing them up and setting them afire are the only ways to take them out.
I love Mythbusters. It's one of my favorite shows, but I think Jaime Hyneman is already a zombie.

Gears of War anyone?
I read the story of the chainsaw beyonet,he says he was inspired from GOW.
