So since a significant amount of time has past, what did you guys think happened at the end?

I think --------- look away now if you don't want to see it -------- the totum keeps spinning. My reasoning behind this is that the kids haven't aged at all. Although we aren't given a time line for the movie, it seems reasonable to think that he's been at this game for some time and if that were the case the kids would show some reasonable aging. I think he finally gave up and decided he wanted to see his kids any way he could.

Are they not also wearing the same clothing. But, whenever he is in a dream, he is wearing his wedding ring. He isn't at the end of the film.

There are also the questions regarding the fact that the totem was his wife, not his.

Did the actions within the film actually happen, or were they themselves just a dream that Leo's character had?

They are, as is his father if I remember correctly, which makes it even more likely that it was a dream... or perhaps the whole thing was a dream, but knowing Nolan he wouldn't of gone that far. We also see the totum drop throughout the rest of the movie when he's supposedly in reality so it's seems likely that everything else was real, IMO.

But you see, this is why I really liked the movie. Even after it was over you still ended up talking about it for days after with people. I liked it :)

Fair enough. The way I see it, it was written so that there was no concrete answer to what happened within the movie or how it ended. I just don't like how he tried to pull it off. But, different strokes n all that :)

I just saw it Saturday night. Incredible. So much so that I'm *still* avoiding spoilers so I can catch all the hidden gems myself on further viewings.

Seems Christopher Nolan wanted to remind everyone that even though he made the really cool Batman movies, he is still the man who made The Following and Memento...

So.. am I the only person who seen this movie and thought it sucked D***? Because it did. There were a ridiculous amount of loopholes, and it was like a 4 year olds brain.. on crack. Imagination gone wild, but.. really.. meh.
I dunno. That's just my opinion. I'm not fan of action movies, really though.
