Installing guitar stands into cabinet sides?

Or some guys want to get their guitars up off the floor?

I've been thinking about either bolting one of those off the wall hangers to the side of my head, or making a block to mount the hanger to and wedge it under my head.

Bring a towel or small sheet of foam for the butt to sit on?

The only reason I continue to mention the MB product (which I don`t even own, btw) is because it`s a cheap alternative that requires 0 mods to your cab. I don`t see why some people think drilling holes into your cab for a mod as silly as this is a good idea and I think more people should be made aware of products like this so that someone who doesn`t know what they are doing doesn`t go around and mess up their cab.

Jeez, the MarkBass pic got quoted several times already didn't it? Does everybody have to have what you have? It didn't take me a lot of thinking to come up with a solution using stuff I already had on hand, and maybe 15 minutes to execute it. And I didn't need someone else to think of it or make it for me.

EDIT: some people actually like thinking, and often find it effortless on such trifles. And making their own stuff too. Go figure.

Have to say it again, I don`t even own the product. I`m just making people aware of a simple, easy to use product that gets the job done without potentially damaging your cab or bass.

Likewise, I also enjoy making my own things to solve little problems around the house - but I also would`t trust myself enough to create something with a 0% chance fail rate when it involves any of my thousand dollar basses. But hey, if you want to live on the edge and take that risk then be my guest. I`m just offering a cheap and effective alternative.

We got a bunch of them on sale for $2.99 a couple of years ago. I just reused existing screws in my combo. The arm pops right off and goes in the gig bag. These work well with rigs that are around 40" high or better for bass.
