Here's some from a quick perusal of my collection. Keep in mind: I didn't read the entire thread and some of my suggestions may not be considered "Prog". I have a difficult time defining the word. Some of these tend more towards Fusion or Jazz, but anyway, here are some of my picks:

I'm not sure it would have ever occurred to me to mention DonCab or Battles in a thread about "prog-rock" but they are some of the most interesting, engaging, and provocatively entertaining bands I've come across in the past ~25 years.

I went on a spree maybe a decade ago and bought all the DonCab albums, listened to nothing else for a two or three week period. Drove my wife insane. But they are badass in a way that no band on the Yes-Genesis-ELP family tree could ever be. It's like they're from a whole different universe.
