I love Chicago style, deeper than the ocean, better bring a knife and fork type crust.

Have you ever tried a high end food item that wasn't really "your thing" after you tried it?
( for me, regrettably, it was lobster. I've been told that I got a bad one and need to revisit it ... )

I'm with you on the sushi!

Yes, I make an awesome whole-wheat pita bread, and an equally awesome traditional raised (normal loaf bread) oatmeal bread made with molasses.

Shall we re-name this the food thread? It's a topic that's hard to get away from!

What are your thoughts on naming children after family members?

Depends on the subject. Western European and Greek history both fascinate me, but I've been force fed so much American history over the years (many of which inaccurate because woo Texas public education system) that I'm about sick of it.

What's the best movie you've seen this year?

NDTV India on TV and CNN/BBC online.

Champ, could you please share a vegetarian a recipe?

Here's a recipe for Chole Bhature :D

With any luck, it'll end up looking like this :

Ever tried Indian fare?

Sure I do, it was this summer, about 2-3 weeks ago it got up to 53' Celcius, my driveway had cracks filled with tar. I went outside onto my driveway and the tar was sticking to my foot. I havent been in such hot weather before, and tonight we had a thunderstorm roll through.

do you like nature ?
