I've been watching Reno 911 on the Netflix recently. Jones and Garcia are sitting in a drive-thru, and the cashier is trying to tell them that the restaurant is being robbed. Do you know any programming languages?

My obsession right now is school and finding a job, so in addition to knowing turbo pascal (at least, 18 years ago), I'm now learning c++, a little visual basic, some JavaScript, tons of HTML/CSS, and upcoming is more c++, java, c#, php, asp, and SQL. Hire me? I get straight A's. I guess my real obsession right now is my grades.

If you went to college, did you enjoy it?

I'm in college right now: can't say I enjoy it much. I laugh less than I did at school and the pressure is manifold more. Just that I can stay home as much as I want to

What's your feeling on extended range basses? (6+ strings)

Personally, I"m quite happy with a 5 string, I could even play 6 if needed but the need hasn't arisen for me. I've heard some folks do very cool things with ER basses for sure, but like anything, it can be abused too. My thought is, if you;re going to play something more than 6 strings, make damned sure you have something to say on it to start with and don't be a You Tube "look how fast I can play" wanker.

Both, cool AND scary. To quote Feist in Stephen Colbert's Christmas special, "Are you kidding me? They're GODLESS KILLING MACHINES!!!"

Would you say Fender as a manufacturer is overrated by some? (I would say yes)

As with any big manufacturer, there will be gems and lemons. The P and J basses are great designs - amazing how "right" Leo got it with a P. That said, I don't play Fender style basses - the ergonomics aren't right for me, and I'm a bit of a non-conformist anyway.
