Thank you!I haven't been able to follow this entire thread, but I am about halfway finished with Ghosts and Ballyhoo. It is a really tremendous read, and I am enjoying it immensely. Your brutal honesty in the book is refreshing. I hope you sell about a zillion copies of this!
The two companion volumes continue the themes of the memoir. In the novel, the characters you meet in the memoir are fictionalized, and I get to "right wrongs." The novel is how I wish my life had gone.
In the dream diary, the characters in the memoir are finally set entirely free, because they're no longer bound by law, nature, or reality.
What'll you read about my Gene Simmons and Scott Thunes dreams.
A teaser: In one Scott Thunes dream, I was both interviewer and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
The night my father died, I went to sleep at 6:00 a.m. and dreamed that Scott had reconstituted the '88 Zappa band and hired me as bassist.
Hilarity ensues!
