Yes,yes. The SVT and B15 are appealing, but the GK has me druling a bit. Wich one has the best fat, slow but wide, chorus? That may be the deciding factor. Although, I've been using mobile POD for the chorus via Audiobus. Maybe it's about the amp and cabs.

Jeeeez. Too many choices, and $10 left. :)

my irig hd arrived today. only managed to play with it for 10 mins. I used the amplitube free app. Which app is the best for us bassists? I dont want to spend money for a load of guitar effects and cabs. just interested in the bass stuff. I am looking to do a bit of recording too (just me jamming along to tunes).

JamUp Pro. Well worth the money.

OK

I've always been one with more balls than brains so I upgraded my 3rd gen iPad.

The download kept breaking until I shut down the VPN but succeeded after that.

UI seems less busy, but I didn't mind the old one.

Brief app check tells me that my last experimental configuration with JamUp Pro and AmpKit+ piped thru Audiobus
into Cubasis still works pretty much as before with perhaps a touch of extra latency that it definitely didn't need.

No crashes or bizarre undesirable audio artifacts.

GJ 2 seems to be happy. Audio level down a touch, maybe.

I haven't tried everything in my limited arsenal of uses but so far, so good, I think.

Please don't blame me if you upgrade and things suck...

No way I can choose, bass pack one have the mighty SVT and the GK for killer rock tone, the SWR for more cleanish tone and the BDDI for grit. The bass pack 2 have the AD200, the GK the A360 and the Bassmaster.

Yup. I see the writing on the walls. I'm going to have to get both expansion packs.

I'm also interested in Sunrizer, and I'm sure there's another synth or two I can get to use with Midimorphosis. I'm thinking that I should be able to get a synth setup to to the 16th notes in 'She's a Beauty'. :)

I'm working on something very similar. My band plays Comfortably Numb, and what I'm working on is creating a patch in Arpeggionome, which makes the actual line, then using Midimorphosis I trigger my synth (Sunrizer) to play the keyboard part. It works but I'm still perfecting it.

So Arpeggionome, Midimorphosis and Sunrizer all run in the background, with Jamup running my bass tone. It requires some adjustment to my technique to get everything to trigger in time with the rest of the band, but I think I'll get it worked out eventually.

Are you triggering one arpeggio, or are there chord changes? The reason I ask is that I was doing something similar in the days when the guitar/bass MIDI interface came out and found that higher pitch triggers were more reliable and was recognized faster. This meant that the lag was a bit less.

It might be interesting to know if this is true with this setup, too.

It's a whole progression. But yeah, higher notes trigger better so I've adjusted my playing to reflect that. I'm still dealing with slight latency that I'm hoping will disappear when I get the 5S.
