Another question, sorry about that.
Using audiobus, I entered a drum track in the input section and it started to play. With Jamup open, I could hear the bass. However, once I put that into the effects box, it went totally silent. Under options I have both the drums and bass to play in the background. Not sure what is going on..
Now I'm not getting any sound at all from Jamup.
Trying to get in to this iOS thing. I have an iPhone 4 and my wife just got an iPad, which hopefully she will let me use occasionally! I downloaded Jamup on both devices and played around with it a bit. Really like how it sounds even through my crappy headphones. What do I need to make a usable rig? I have the iRig adapter. Should I get a 30 pin cable? If so which one? What is a good method to connect to my amp or a PA? Can some of you post pics of your setup? Thanks!

+1I use the Apogee Jam to connect my bass to my iPhone. The irig is ok, but way too noisy to use live. The 30-pin is the way to go for interfaces.
Coming out of my iPhone 4S, I use an 1/8" to dual RCA cable w/ 1/4" adapters. Using only the left side (use left for mono), I run into a DI box before splitting the signal to the PA and my amp.
I don't think so, only with an iPad. CCK works only with an iPad, so any true compliant USB class device will work with an iPad, but an iPhone will need specific support like the Apogee Jam.
