I'm outta Bettendorf and Ampegfuzz is outta the QC. I saw FutureTense plays with the Love Dogs and I know they are out of the QC. Didn't go back any further in the thread but I think there is at least a one other local guy. Blue Bass 2 is outta Davenport but I don't think he's ever posted on this thread... guess I should send him an invite.

Southeast Iowa here.
I've played in DSM a few times at the The House of Bricks and Hull Avenue Tavern.

As far as getting gigs for an original band in Southeast Iowa is pretty easy. We have a radio station in Burlington that plays local bands in the regular rotation. I played 70 gigs from Oct. 2010 to Oct 2011. and even got paid for the majority of them.

If a GTG is gonna happen I'd suggest the Bombay Bicycle Club in Des Moines.

Yep! Currently living in Wilton, which is about halfway between Iowa City and Davenport.
