Iowa Bassists! Assemble!

I've been meaning to go to one of your shows but haven't made it yet. We should do some shows together. Maybe this fall or winter? Fort Madison or Burlington would be good.

Right on. We're a decent opener. Pop sounding dance tunes for the ladies. Maybe can get our friends Gravity Falls in there to. I think we did play a show together a few months back. Did you guys play the Rocket Slide benefit at HyVee in Keokuk as well? We played super early in the day. And if im not mistaken younguys played pretty late. I had to leave pretty early. Plus, we were missing one of our band members that day.

I don't there's anyone handing out nos. for this crew.

Yeah, I'm still around. Sorry! Let me update the list here.
The numbers are superficial, but I put down anyone who posted who lives/has lived in Iowa.
(And it's nice to see that this thread is still semi-alive.)

Lots of friendly people. Low crime rates. Basically all small towns. Good schools. Relatively low cost of living. Strong communities.

Small towns falls on the cons as well. We don't get the cutting edge stuff until a few months after the coasts at times. Not much original live music outside of Des Moines and Iowa City.

There's a short list.
