I’ve never heard of anyone ever having an experience of being denied the option to buy an ie pedal from someone selling one because they don’t already own an ie pedal. That is either an outrageous claim or an absurd pre-requisite.

I’m talking about someone that wants to get rid of a pedal, but won’t take my money. They only want to trade it to someone for a different IE pedal.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not, but there are posts in the classifieds where people are looking to trade pedals for other pedals and NOT selling them for money.

Yeah it's on my keeping list no matter what. I originally bought it to nest the XD and that worked really well.

Yeah it's on my keeping list no matter what. I originally bought it to nest the XD and that worked really well.

"Nest" the XD? As in putting the XD in the loop of the div?

Yep. The XD can really go deep and low and I was finding that my regular signal could really swamp my tone and also potentially cause damage to my rig. I got the Divaricator and put the XD in the HPF side of the loop (later with a few other things like a fuzz there too) and that allowed me to keep super clean deep coherent lows but have the filter on the stuff above that and it solved some of the triggering issues.

For that price you don't even get all the XD knobs!

Honestly more interested in that Oxide that's up but not really buying any pedals right now and 375 while probably going rate is more than I'd wish on it.

So, I'm still only a day into IE but say for instance these "chips" become available again, this bubble pops and prices return to what I remember 5 or so months ago? a tad below msrp?

I would expect that's so once the spice flows and Taylor can do his black rituals with them.
