What were your settings? If you don't mind sharing, just got a deep blue frantabit to match my deep blue subt!! I've got an oxide too I'm curious to hear what your describing??...

I took a picture of it and posted it here: post

I could describe it as "rounding up" the fuzz, just made it sound fuller and less harsh. That happened a few hours after starting to play with it and the next day I figured out that that it was really oxide>xeroD that I liked, the frantabit didn't add so much. After I switched pedals around and found that SFT>Oxide>XeroD sounded really good to, much better then B7K>Oxide>XeroD .

My Frantabit left Miami airport last night and should be on its way, maybe I'll have it at the end of next week. I will have to try those settings. So, I should put it after all the dirt and modulation and before delay/reverb?

Nice work Taylor <3
Can't wait to get to rehearsal room :bassist:

Please tell me what you can actually do with it... I did not understand mine a bit!!!!

Ok pardon the sloppy playing but I recorded this while I was muted on a conference call so, you get what you can in those cases...

But, here is a short clip of the Frantabit, it basically adds some stutter/grit/fun to the signal. I tried two modes on it.

So, the chain is PBass with TI flats > mThump > SFX Micro EQ > SubT > Accountant > Clean blend with : Frantabit > Oxide > F2B > Meatsmoke > 6176 (Flat) with compression at 4:1 > Roland Quad Capture.

I know double posts are tacky but this thread needs more pictures.

It's everything I hoped it would be. It sounds incredible with the Wonderlove. I'll record a demo this weekend of the two playing happily together...it's delicious. I agree with the people who say it's best to put another pedal after the subT and not use it alone. You need something after it to tame some of the pedal's brash higher frequencies.

Also, Taylor, your pedals are a work of art. I'm hunting for an Oxide as a Christmas gift to myself. That's a thing, right?

Edited because the second image was gigantic and annoying to load.
