That looks so nice. Out of curiosity, how long have you been on the list? I think I’ve been on the list for an SE since last spring-ish...wondering if I may be up soon.

You might want to double check. I ordered in early December of 18.

I was gonna say... ;)

The 'list' doesn't work like a waiting list for your order. It is an email list that when a new batch hits the store, you get an email saying it's available. Then it's up to you to go and place the order. Last I saw a batch hit in the Dec/Jan time period...and I reached out to Taylor a few weeks ago on the Nimbus SE and he said that another batch should be available 'in a few weeks'.

You might want to re-submit your email.

What the heck - I even put a second email on the list to make sure - I haven’t seen anything on either of them.

I did get an email in June for the standard Nimbus (I put my email on both the SE and standard)...but decided I wanted the SE instead....and have been waiting ever since.

Looks like FrantaBit just came in stock. Maybe I just missed out on another batch of the Nimbus SE.....

Sorry for the confusion everybody. Just to clear that all up, any Nimbus SEs that have shipped recently would be pedals that were custom-ordered. So that means that during the period when I was taking custom orders in December, those people paid up front and waited a couple months to receive their pedal. I only took a small number of custom orders to make sure I could deliver them within the time specified.

I probably won't be doing custom orders again any time soon, because most people don't want to pay up-front and then wait a few months to get their pedal. The good news is that I've been getting caught up and the pedals are becoming stocked regularly on the site, so you can place an order and get your pedals in a few days, rather than months. I know the availability has been difficult this last year, and I'm glad to be getting back to a point where it won't be so hard to get an IE pedal. I really appreciate those of you who have been waiting a long time.

The Nimbus SE will likely be the next pedal going into the shop in the next couple weeks. Polytopes and Xerographs Deluxe should follow after that.

View attachment 3325765 Nimbus SE came in the mail yesterday...what a great pedal! Really enjoying this combo.

Nice collection...could have some fun with that. I snoozed on the recent FrantaBit restock. I thought they'd last like the FMerons... If anyone snagged one and isn't loving it, hit me up.

I usually think it's best for me not to post specifics about customer orders on a public forum, but everything is on track with the last couple custom orders, so they should be shipping in the time specified. :)

@Taylor Livingston , the shelves on the webstore are lookin' pretty bare these days. ;)

I already have a Nimbus...are the expression controls of the SE that much better? I'm genuinely curious.

I have a Nimbus too and was thinking of offering it up with some cash for the SE. I'm not a heavy reverb user, but I like having the ability to have just a touch of reverb and also have a really washed out reverb sound. Its my understanding that with an expression pedal you can sweep the amount of reverb or the room size to achieve this.

I honestly don't have huge plans right now for the expression pedal...But I never see the point of buying a piece of gear that's partially optioned when there's something more fully optioned available. I don't desire to have multiple expressions on stage...and already have one set up for the XD.
