Man after receiving and listening to the IE Polytope in my chain my mind opened a bit to the idea of a Nimbus, and reverb in general. I’ve stated before that I’m not into creating “atmospheric” stuff and that’s still true but I have spent a bunch of time lately basically playing music alone. Be it playing to tracks I have or can find online, drums only tracks e.t.c.
CAN WE START A THREAD FOR SANS-BASS TRACKS/APPS?
And in reality, I dont know what exactly I’ll be doing in the future in the way of bands and live gigs. But I’ll play Bass until I can’t.
The Polytope is so rich, lush, gorgeous, so when I saw an excellent example of a Nimbus, and read about the features related to the expression jack/knob/switch/assignment I went for it! (Thank you for including that MG!).
Because I know the Nimbus is going to be so rich, lush ....gorgeous.
You're going to like the Nimbus. I've owned an SE for just under 4 years. It's lasted longer than any other pedal on my board and that’s saying something... There is nothing that compares, IMO. It's that special!

Yup. This was a sacrificial sale. I didn’t want to sell it at all but had to grab an LA-1A for a nice deal, RFE and the DubT so I had to let this one go...for now.
Thx Kranahan! That’s reassuring because as a matter of fact I’m really stepping out of anything remotely like a comfort zone money wise. I going to be putting stuff up, stuff I’ve been meaning to but have been procrastinating and stuff I really don’t want to. Of note here is the monochrome Frantabit I got recently. There’s pictures of it in this thread. I need to review my notes (pictures) from that day because I was getting something really cool from it that I couldn’t achieve otherwise. I think I was using it as a sound source to be “modified” (my term for what effects do when placed after oscillators/octaves in a synth chain) as opposed to being a “modifier”. I look into it today.

My ETAs are notoriously unreliable, so I'm trying to under-promise and over-deliver with that 3 month quote.
Right now I'm waiting on some things, like the custom potentiometers I use that are rated for 10-20 times the lifespan of the pots most pedals use, and because of COVID they won't really give me a solid delivery date. But if it helps, yours was literally the first pre-order, like seconds after the page went up and before any announcement had been made. I was like, wow, these guys are quick!

I've been eyeing your shop since I watched Janek's video. I've never been so sold on a pedal by watching a video. It sounds so damn good in that demo!
I'm chomping at the bit for one of those. The plan is to buy one when they are in stock next.

I have been holding back on this probably since 2013. So excited. Dubterranea on the way, XE on the way and got myself an Oxide recently. Pedalboard is starting to look really good these days

I’m going to receive an Oxide today! It really hasn’t sunk in. I did not expect to find one. Got a Dubterranea on order as well. The Polytope is killing, just killing. And I’ve barely got to know it really, but throw it in after a Subterranea/Xenogragh Deluxe and it’s fat city baby!
