Irreversible climate damage is imminent

Notice how the onus always comes back to what kind of automobile we should now drive? Going electric will apparently solve everything but....

But what about:-

Military jets
Military planes
Commercial jets
Private jets
Private planes
Airport transport equipment
18 wheel commercial trucks
Taxi cabs
Motorcycles
Delivery trucks
Buses
Diesel mining trucks
Diesel mining equipment
Diesel and gas agriculture equipment
Ferries
Commercial fishing boats
Cruise ships
Sport boats
Skidoos
Rescue craft
Research vessels
Diesel generator plants
Lawnmowers
ATV's
Offroad equipment

for "carbon footprint"...?

You forgot helicopters. Those use loads of fuel.;)

But, you do have a very good point about how nearly everything we do uses fossil fuels.

I think the best way to actually do something is to use the least amount of energy possible for whatever task. And to massively reduce each person's energy use and wastage.

I wish someone would post something ridiculous in this thread.

And here you go
