The mixolydian mode in the key of C goes C, D, E, F, G, A, Bb. F is the 4, not the b7.

G mixolydian is the relative mixolydian scale of C major. That doesn't mean C major IS G mixolydian. This is the most common conceptual error about relative modes: that because they have the "same notes," they are the "same scale." They aren't. They are different scales.

"In the key of C" means exactly that: In the key of C – not in the key of G mixolydian. "C mixolydian" does NOT mean "the relative mixolydian scale of C major." It simply means C mixolydian.

F is the 7th interval of G mixolydian, or any other G-tonic scale that has a b7 in it. So just say that: "F is the 7 in the key of G mixolydian."

According to Robert Perine (who did the Fender advertisements) and his talk with Leo Fender:

"Randall assured me that Leo and I could work it out if I took along an alternative sketch, perhaps a compromise version. Unclear as to what that actually meant, I drove to Fullerton with yet another design option. Leo, feeling put on the spot by the meeting, stared at my sketch for a long time, focusing mainly on the F.
“It’s not a regular F, you know. It’s a German 7,” he informed me."

Infinity is more than a concept, it's a belief system. Currently out of fashion with astrophysicists. Although perhaps simultaneously not. What's at the end of infinity if not more?

Matamaticians need to be careful around fizzicists. They bring up stuff like string theory, but cant make the math work. Where is Richard F. when you need him most.
