Exactly! Why can people not see this???

Because the world is not that easy to understand.

It´s not a question about "seeing" something. It´s about science. It´s quite boring actually, and not very suitable for bold internet oneliners.

Yes, Global Warming has become an industry, and the hysteria is boring. But your stand is no more reasonable than that of the most avid Al Gore-praisers.

Ok, fine, I'm a Global Warming skeptic as well, but that doesn't mean the environment isn't being affected by man. Deforestation, littering, improper disposable of hazardous material, etc. all harm the planet/things that live on it one way or another.

There's some scandinavian econimist who's done serious cost/benefit analysis on all these kinds of things - how much would we need to spend to make a difference, and how big would that difference be? He concluded we could spend billions to maybe delay global warming and benefit marginally in about 50 years, or take a fraction of that and spend it on more cost effective programs.

His most cost effective project was a proposed imunisation program in africa that would save millions of lives within 12 months for a thousandth of the cost of one global warming project.

Yes it's definatly getting warmer.
Is it cause by man? probably, but only partially.
How much partialy? Not really sure - hard to tell. probably only a little bit.
Do most of the programs like carbon offsetting work? No
Is it a big policical football that can divert attention from other things...
