Bump on a couple questions asked here. Anybody know whether there will be a matching headstock option?

with matching headstock on the red and blue versions.

I found this image which seems to have a cobalt blue Jaguar:

It kind of reminds me *SLIGHTLY* of Rickenbacker's midnight blue.
That image caused some contension on another forum... the consensus was that that Jag is Lake Placid Blue... and the only official Fender Cobalt Blue anyone's seen has been a transparent-ish finish.
My Jazz Bass has dark pickups in it and my Ibby sounds too clinical, so neither are great for slap. I know this is an age-old 'annoying question' but are these Jag's suited to slap? I'd probably string it with steels anyway. I'm looking for a bright 'new strings' sound. Give us a hand with suggestions?![]()
It's weird - they're filtering through to the shops, and some retailers are claiming the cobalt blue is in stock, but no-one will post a picture of it!
Just seen a picture of the CAR one - without matching headstock.
I never knew Fender discontinued it. Of course, I don't really keep up with Fender much as I've never really been able to afford one. lol
I REALLY wish Fender would bring back the baritone guitar. I can't remember what it was called exactly, but The Beatles used it as the bass for most of the songs on the white album.
You are supposed to link us to the pic!
I'm just itching for official photos and pricing info!
