on the other hand, he seems to have enough style to score. If he knocked it off with the stupid haircut, that could easily take him farther.

Looks matter less than you think unless you're grossly disfigured, then it might be more of a challenge, but getting attractive women has always been super easy, even for a below average looking guy if you know how it works.
If you don't, it's easy to learn.

You saying that's wrong or stroking egos proves your paradigm. Whatever you believe is your reality within human abilities (I can't fly without a plane or jet pack) and learned competencies ( you have to study to become a surgeon, or to understand the female psyche to have a life long intimate relationship with the women of your choosing) I know you can Google to find something to disprove that but then people who can't always tell people that can the reasons why it won't work.
Most people are victims of their own belief system; they never get rich, never get the hot chic and never learn that your mind set and your skill set are almost everything.
