Is Modulus still in Business?

If they're to be bought, it'd be nice to see somebody other than Fender drive the brand into the ground. I bet Ernie Ball would do well by the line.

I don't think Ernie Ball would be interested in them, but even if they were I doubt they'd drive them into the ground. Out of all bass related companies, they definitely seem to have their ducks in order the most just from my experiences with them compared to other companies.

Not trying to start any rumors, but if I had to bet I'd go with Peavey. 100% speculation.

Peavey would do it I think! Again I'm not saying this is true.. But as a hypothetical.. I think peavey would.. They did the same with rain song acoustic guitars right? Wouldn't be their first dive in to graphite instruments

I think it was Composite Acoustics / CA Guitars. But yeah, it's not their first foray into composites plus they had the BQuad which had a composite neck. And I think modulus made the necks.

Didn't Peavey have some models with Modulus necks for a while? The G Bass, I believe. Still, this is speculation and I'd love for them to continue on their own if they can.

I'd like to know for sure myself. I have 2 GV basses. I know for sure the BQuads had Modulus necks, but the GV necks don't have the Modulus pattern.... it's more like Status necks, with the weaving. I've heard the G bass necks were possibly made overseas, so it's plausible.

You guys are all nuts.:rolleyes::D

In any case, I was told over a month ago what was basically up with Modulus when i finally got in touch with Anderson and Joe trying to get a bass returned after 3-4 months of no communication. Not my place to discuss if Modulus is in business or not in any case, so don't ask.

My bass is back and that is cool but I am amazed that nobody from Modulus has bothered to inform their customers/vendor partners about what is going on.

Pretty sad really.

As the OP of this thread, I thought I owed it to Modulus (specifically Anderson) to update the status of my bass on this thread.....

I spoke to Anderson tonight and my bass is shipping back to me tonight. Joe was there with Anderson giving me some advice on a scratchy pot before my bass was packed up.

I have nothing to say about the above post, but it looks like Anderson and Joe took care of me.

I really appreciate them doing this for me today!

Cheers!

Brent
